Project Overview

The project comprised the redevelopment of an existing brownfield site with the design and construction of a new Travis Perkins builders merchants facility.

The works consisted the preparation of the existing site with the construction of a new 11,100 sq ft steel framed merchants unit 6.20m to haunch, including four level access doors, shop front entrance and general windows and doors. The building is clad with composite and built up cladding and the internal floor area is insitu concrete to FM2 finish. Extenally the works comprised extensive reinforced insitu concrete yards with external lighting, and boundary walls and fencing.

Drainage consisted of new connections off site including a pumped foul installation and an extensive attenuation installation to the storm drainage. Boundary treatments included demolition work adjacent an adjoining highways and retaining details to immediately adjoing residential and commercial properties.

The fitting out works were undertaken by Travis Perkins directly with early access to the building faccilitated by Lodge Park.
